Story of the spilled wheat

Story of the spilled wheat

We had a little accident with our wheat. When loading some of our turkey red wheat with on a pallet for a customer, the pallet scraped a big bag of wheat. Half of it spilled out on our shop gravel. Not a good deal. Or is it?

I've been trying to take what appears to be bad things and flip it. I'm believing that God is working good in bad, even in little things. So.... rather than being frustrated with having to scoop up wheat and loosing some that had gravel in it, I looked at it this way:

I was planning to plant some older wheat I had left from last year, but - since the NEW wheat spilled - I will just plant it. New wheat is another generation adapted to my soil.

Also, I needed some seed to spread on our garden and hog lot as cover crop - perfect - I can scoop up the gravely wheat and we can spread it by hand there.

Plus - It was a wheat playground for Asher!
